long time gone.

Hello, how are you - wont you tell me your name? My, its been way too long.

As many of you know, our wedding is in 4 months! So much has happened since the last time I blogged; it would take pages and pages of updates...but I don't want you getting too bored ;)

Michael and I are seriously living a dream come true as we became official residents of Downtown Dallas. We've been in the city for about a month now and its absolutely incredible! We fell in love with city life a long, long, time ago and when we found this building, we knew it was time! Both of our jobs are within walking distance sooo no more driving, the pups love it and, its down the street from all the museums, restaurants and dive bars we love.

Speaking of pups, we have a new baby! This last Valentine's Day, Winston became a big brother to a Dapple Chaweenie that we named, Alfie. They became friends off the bat - even though they get strikes of jealousy every now and then.

The wedding is in full force and under way. Since I'm in Dallas and all my family is in South Texas, planning has been a headache and not fun. Because I have such a crazy schedule and don't know a thing about weddings, my momma, my Tia Cynthia and my Tete, have been getting EVERYTHING together. I mean..E V E R Y T H I N G. I like to call them my "Fairy Godmothers" - they are absolutely amazing. I'd like to quote my little cousin - Caroline, " I've realized our family has become freakishly obsessive." They are more obsessed with the wedding than me! All I care about is marrying my beau and having our families together; the rest is all details.

2011 has, so far, proven itself loyal. I've learned that no matter what, family comes first. My family is going through an intense rollercoaster of emotions. I don't want to get into detail because those who have been near us, know what's going on. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say that blood IS thicker than water. And the trials and tribulations we have gone through lately, have made us closer and extremely loyal.
I live for them.

I'll leave you with this: listen to "Little Lion Man" by Mumford. It sings my heart.
